Introduction
Even though Pinot Blanc is very old (from the 16th century), it achieved its present reputation over the last few years. This grape variety does not originate from Burgundy but actually comes from Northern Italy.

Tasting Notes
Bright yellow colour with green tints. The nose is fine and delicate, floral and fruity at the same time. Green lime and grapefruit dominate. On the palate the onset is generous, full bodied but elegant. Mineral notes match perfectly with hints of peach, lemon and green apple.

Food Matching
This is the ideal aperitif wine, a crowd pleaser. It would also match well with charcuterie platters, sea food or even asparagus.
